Overview

What is Property & Real Estate?

This covers property documentation across its full life: drafting and registering a sale deed, gift deed or partition deed; rent and lease agreements; title search and due diligence before a purchase; property registration, khata transfer and record correction; and RERA registration and compliance for a real estate project. A property transaction usually touches several of these at once.

Who it's for

Who needs it

Buyers and sellers

Sale agreements, sale deeds and the due diligence that should happen before either side signs.

Landlords and tenants

Rent and lease agreements, registered where the term requires it, and their renewal.

Families dividing or transferring property

Gift, partition, release and settlement deeds among co-owners or family members.

Builders and developers

RERA project registration and the compliance filings that follow it.

Eligibility & requirements

A property transaction is registered at the sub-registrar's office where the property is located
A lease exceeding the exempted term must be registered, not merely notarised
Under the RERA Act, a project must be registered where its land exceeds 500 sq m or it has more than 8 apartments
Stamp duty and registration charges apply per the state where the property is situated

Why is it needed?

Property is one of the few purchases where a documentation mistake can take years and a court case to undo. Verifying title before you buy, registering a transfer correctly, and getting a rent agreement's terms right the first time are what keep a property matter from becoming a dispute.

Process & timeline

How we get it done

1

Verify before you sign

Title, encumbrance and land records are checked before any agreement is drafted.

2

Drafting

The agreement or deed is drafted for your specific transaction, not a generic template.

3

Registration

Executed at the sub-registrar's office with the stamp duty the state requires.

4

Records updated

Khata, property tax and other municipal records are updated to reflect the transaction.

Why Clikdocs

Why work with us

Verification before commitment

Title and encumbrance checks happen before you sign anything, not after a problem surfaces.

Drafted for the transaction, not a template

Every agreement and deed reflects your specific property and parties, checked by someone qualified to do so.

Registration handled, not just drafting

We take the document through to registration and the record updates that follow, rather than handing you a draft and stopping there.

One team for the whole transaction

Due diligence, drafting, registration and RERA compliance can all be handled by the same team.
